Brother McCanse ceremoniously began the 2010 chapter year with the "crashing of the dish" ceremony. A new tradition for the Central MO Alumni Chapter but fun nonetheless. We appreciate the Boone Tavern for hosting as always.

In chapter business, Brother Kassel reported that Brother Andy Russell (Xi Xi) and former member of the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers will be on campus to speak at the College of Business on April 20th. Area Sigs are encouraged to attend. The event is free of charge.

The XiXi chapter at MU initiated 29 men on the 16th of January. Over 60 alumni were in attendance to witness the celebration. Initiations at Westminster College and Missouri S&T are forthcoming this semester.

A note of congratulations and brotherhood to undergraduate chapter at SE Missouri State in Cape Girardeau. They will be celebrating their 50th anniversary on April 10th. Brother Klaus will be representing the spirit of Central Missouri.

Balfour Leadership Training Workshop has been announced. The host will be the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill between 7/29 - 7/31.

Additional notes: 2010 chapter dues are being collected by our Treasurer, Brother Klaus. $20 dues are used to fund international dues and ritual grants to the chapters at MU, Westminster and Rolla. These dollars support the maintenance of Ritual supplies for our undergraduate chapters.

Finally, all Chapter Officers were re-elected to their positions for another year. Congratulations to President Kassel,
VP-Miller, Treasurer Klaus and Secretary Hayes.

Our next regularly scheduled Chapter meeting will be held on April 14th at the Boone Tavern in Downtown Columbia at Noon. The lunch buffet is back so I encourage you all to join us!
