Attendance: Dave Bear, George Gale, Joe Hayes, Andy Kassel & Bruce Klaus
Official business and attendance were light this month which left more time for the thick and rich discussion amongst the brothers. President Kassel announced that the local XiXi chapter is participating in the Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Special Olympics. Undergraduate brothers are looking for donations to take a dip in Stephens Lake in mid-February. For more details go to www.somo.org/xixi. Order of Constantine nominations are due by December 31st and 2011 Balfour Leadership Training Workshop faculty applications are available at www.sigmachi.org.
$100 checks will be sent to the Central Missouri undergraduate chapters at MU, Missouri University of Science & Technology and Westminster College. Funds will be earmarked for the replacement of ritual supplies and equipment.
Elections for Alumni chapter officers will occur at the February 9th meeting. Nominations will be accepted by President Kassel between now and then.
The President appointed a special committee to explore opportunities to host an event in the spring on a weekend in an attempt to provide an opportunity for brothers who cannot attend lunch meetings. More information to follow.
Happy Holidays!
Respectfully Submitted,
Joseph Hayes
