Attendance: Dave Bear, George Gale, Andy Kassel, Bruce Klaus, Jeff Companto & Joe Hayes
The meeting came to order with a lengthy discussion surrounding the historical significance of the greater Missouri distribution techniques and methods in the beer and spirit industry. The group always comes away from these meetings learning something new and is introduced to some great characters. This month did not disappoint with the introduction of Spanky McFarland (Oklahoma Bootlegger) and the Greisadich girls. Wonderful stuff! In chapter business we that the lost check to Westminster was found (and cashed) so the chapter coffers are a little lower than usual at $190.85. The men of Westminster have already cashed their 2009 ritual contribution. Missouri S&T and the MU chapter will receive their ritual contributions after the new year when new dues will be collected. Some events that we are looking forward to is the "Klaus House" Christmas Potluck scheduled for a TBA date in December. The XiXi reunion is scheduled for May 8,9,10 in Columbia and Grand Chapter is scheduled for the 4th of July weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. Snaps all around for XiXi re-founding member Alan Simpson for his hard work on the Petersen Award. Winning this award was a great accomplishment for such a young chapter. The Chapter is also happy to welcome the newest legacies to our order. John Kassel (son of Andy), Jackson Hayes (son of Joe), and Ben Gale (grandson of George). We look forward to their maturation under the shadow of the White Cross. Next meeting in December, looking forward to seeing you all there! Fraternally, Joe Hayes Recording Secretary
