Brothers,
The Order of Constantine Selection Committee recently met to complete our annual review of nominees and to make our final selections. The 2007-09 committee consists of the three current officers of the Order (Phil Olsen, Mike Ursillo and Jerry Nelson), the most current past president of the Order (Rick Lewandowski), the current Grand Consul (Bob Jones), a past Grand Consul (Doug Carlson) and the Alumni Representative to the Executive Committee (Mike Greenberg).
It was heartwarming for us to review the accomplishments of so many Sigma Chi Brothers doing such amazing things on behalf of our Fraternity. The Class of 2008 Inductees consists of brothers whose service to the fraternity has been provided primarily on the local level, as well as several others whose service, activities and involvement have been performed both locally and on the international level. We encourage you to continue nominating worthy brothers who have demonstrated commitment, dedication and long-term service to Sigma Chi.
Please join us in congratulating the newest members of the Order of Constantine (listed below). These brothers have worn the White Cross in a manner the Seven Founders would have commended, and we should all be honored to recognize them as new members of our Order. Induction into the Order is the highest form of recognition that Sigma Chi can bestow upon one of its members; an honor 550 brothers have received honor since the inception of the Order at the 47th Grand Chapter in 1948.

This year’s recipients may choose for their formal induction ceremonies to take place the evening of Friday,
June 27 at the 2008 Grand Council Banquet in Skokie, Ill. Others may be recognized during award presentations at local chapter, or province-wide events. Each new member will receive an OOC certificate of induction, plaque and lapel pin.
