Our regular meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every even-numbered month. Meetings are held at Boone Tavern in downtown Columbia at noon, except for the August meeting which is held at the Poopdeck at Lake Ozark.
The Central Missouri Alumni Chapter would like to extend its most sincere congratulations to the men of the Xi Xi Chapter of Sigma Chi at the University of Missouri. Their academic performance during the Fall 2009 Semester was quite impressive. The overall chapter GPA was 3.139 for the semester, which placed them fourth among fraternities at MU. This GPA was above the All Greek (3.103), All University (2.986), All Fraternity (2.923), and All Male (2.841) averages. Their fourth-place ranking represents an improvement over last year, when they were ranked sixth among fraternities.
Additionally, the Fall 2009 Pledge Class recorded a 3.208 GPA, which earned them the top spot among fraternity pledge classes and was well above the fraternity New Member average of 2.761. This is very impressive for a class of 33 men who are not only adjusting to life at MU, but also learning about the Ideals and philosophies of Sigma Chi. Congratulations, Brothers!
Finally, congratulations to the newly-elected undergraduate officers of the Xi Xi Chapter, including Consul Kyle Haberberger, Pro Consul Pat McClain, and Recruitment Chair Quinn Damon. Good luck, men.
