Sigs and SluggersJuly 18th 2009Dear Sigma Chi Alumnus,  I would like to invite you to participate in Sigs and Sluggers.
Sigs and Sluggers is simply a day at the ballpark (St. Louis Cardinals Vs. Arizona Diamondbacks) sponsored by Sigma Chi, with the intention of raising money for the Huntsman Cancer Institute. The Southeast Missouri State and Mizzou chapters of Sigma Chi have teamed up to sponsor the event. We have bought one-thousand tickets to the game, which is to take place on July 18th. These tickets were purchased at $14.00 a piece, and are being sold through www.stlcardinals.com/sigmachi at $30.00. This means that per ticket sold, $16.00 is donated to the Huntsman Cancer Institute. In order to make this event a success, we need a great deal of effort and participation from Sigs across the country, and especially in the Midwest. In order to make this event a success, we are asking participation from all Sigs, alumni and undergrads. This is a great event to bring Sigs from across the country together, as well as show the public what we are about.
